The corrugator supercilli is a small narrow muscle at the inner extremity of the eyebrow, just beneath the |occipito-frontalis| and occularis palpebrarum muscles. It draws the eyebrows downward and inward, producing wrinkles on the forehead. It is often called the "frowning muscle".
